Damini Ogulu is the next up. Literally.
Née Burna Boy, the Afro-fusion artist won Best International Artist at the BET Awards and was named Apple Music’s Up Next Artist for July.
“I’m super excited to be part of the Apple Music Up Next campaign,” said Burna Boy. “Apple continuously comes up with new initiatives to support artists globally and push the African culture.”
Burna will also release his follow-up to 2018’s Outside, African Giant, on July 26th. The album will feature the singles “On The Low,” “Gbona,” “Dangote” and “Anybody.” Burna will also make his television debut, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later in July.
