This is a pleasant surprise.

His first solo album in close to a decade, 2009’s Don Cusack In High Fidelity, Tanya Morgan member Donwill has released his sophomore album One Word No Space a few days early.

“The album is still set to release to all other platforms on July 19th and you will be able to head to your favorite streamer and help boost my streaming numbers because apparently that matters,” Don said. “What matters more to me is that you guys are enjoying the music. I’d love to have a dialogue about it.”

Led by the singles “10 Screens” and “Uppermost,” Don calls upon all of his Lessondary kinfolk for this one: Jermiside, Brickbeats, Rob Cave, Che Grand and even a (full, original three member) Tanya Morgan reunion — Von Pea and Ilyas — appear throughout, as well as MC Paul Barman and Quelle Chris among others.
