Iggy Azalea Drops Sophomore Album, ‘In My Defense’

Five years after her debut album The New Classic, and a year following her Survive The Summer EP, Iggy Azalea — now an independent artist, having split from Island Records in 2018 — has released her sophomore album, In My Defense.

A 12-track outing, Azalea has seemingly taken the Tyga-style route of making raunchy, club-leaning and bass-heavy tracks (“Just Wanna,” for example, channels her inner City Girl). Led by the singles “Sally Walker” and “Started,” Defense features the likes of Juicy J, Kash Doll, and Lil Yachty.

Iggy also dropped a twerk-friendly video for “F**k It Up,” with Kash Doll.
