Marlon Craft Rips ‘5 Fingers of Death’ Freestyle on Sway in the Morning

Marlon Craft can rap.

Ever since he caught our attention with his NBA-inspired bedroom freestyle, the New York emcee has continued to show and prove–from The Tunnel’s End and his A Dollar In Quarters series (we still need that last .25 btw) to the release of his debut album, Funhouse Mirror.

Showing no signs of slowing down, M.C. made his way to Sway in the Morning to take part in the 5 Fingers of Death challenge. And with DJ Wonder queuing up tracks by Onyx and Jay-Z, Craft proceeds to give the mic hell for a cool four minutes. Capping things off by receiving a pound from co-host Heather B (who pointed out she’s only done that a handful of times after a guest’s performance).

As a bonus, last month, Craft invited 100 fans to participate in an intimate live band listening session for Funhouse Mirror–which resulted in a series of performance clips that help round out a live rendition of the LP.
