NF has done it again.

After breaking out with a self-titled EP in 2014, the Gladwin, Michigan rapper continued to raise his stock with each release. At the tail end of 2018, he scored his first No. 1 album with Perception. And now, he’s gone back-to-back with his fourth album, The Search, taking the top spot on the charts.

Debuting with 130,000 equivalent album units (84k of which were from traditional sales, marking the biggest sales week for rap this year), the album managed to spoil Chance The Rapper‘s The Big Day-which debuted in second place with 108,000 equivalent album units (27k traditional).

A 20-track set that wrestles with the tough, existential questions we all face–and refuses to accept easy answers. Raw, moving and illuminated by flashes of humor, NF’s signature tense and tight bars evoke an intense internal journey, a quest for personal peace and meaning.

Led by tracks like “Leave Me Alone” and “When I Grow Up,” NF’s The Search can be heard below. Press play and add wherever you consume music.
