After kicking off the year with a Sway in the Morning freestyle, Boogie is back with Mr. Calloway and company as he helps usher in their new Los Angeles-based studio with a brand new set of bars.
With Everything’s For Sale still in heavy rotation – and if it’s not, you’re sleeping (it’s one of the best albums of the year) – the West Coast rapper proceeds to give Rick Ross and Drake’s “Gold Roses” a healthy dose of introspection and realness with bars like, “Once you booming, they gon’ treat you like you up/ If your team don’t block the hate, then you gonna turn to Andrew Luck/ If I’m reaching for the sun, and then you see me turn to dust/ May I forever be remembered for the people that I touched.”
