Quasi-related side bar: my absolute favorite song from Pharoahe Monch is, and will always be, “The Light” from his debut solo album Internal Affairs.
Now that that’s out of the way, Monch really is an alien. Alongside guitarist Marcus Machado and drummer Daru Jones, the trio have unveiled their new group TH1RT3EN, and released their debut record.
