It’s been quite the year for DaBaby… and we’re only in September.
After breaking out with his Baby On Baby project, landing a spot on the XXL Freshmen cover and killing every feature possible (on tracks with Lil Baby, Lizzo, Gucci Mane, Lil Nas X, and more), the Charlotte rapper continues his hot streak with the release of his second album of the year, KIRK.
“Kirk, my last name, it holds big weight,” DaBaby says of the album title. “It’s all about confidence, being a leader.”
Locked in at 13 tracks, including the introspective “Intro” that finds DaBaby rapping about the unexpected passing of his father (who appears on the album artwork) during his rise to fame earlier this year, the album has features from Nicki Minaj, Chance the Rapper, Gucci Mane, Kevin Gates, Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Migos, and his right hand man, Stunna 4 Vegas.
