Los Angeles rapper and producer Hykeem Carter – more commonly known as Baby Keem – gained the attention of many last year thanks to production and vocal work on TDE’s Black Panther: The Album & Jay Rock’s Redemption.
In addition to working with TDE, 2018 also featured three projects from Baby Keem: Midnight, Hearts & Darts and his debut album The Sound of Bad Habit (which features “Opinions,” a favorite of mine).
Earlier this summer, Baby Keem dropped off his sophomore album, DIE FOR MY B***H. Led by three singles – “INVENTED IT,” “FRANCE FREESTYLE” & “ORANGE SODA,” the album sported 14 songs that could be best described as what would happen if Playboi Carti’s baby voice turned into its own artist and spent its childhood listening to Kendrick Lamar.
Keeping the album in rotation, Baby Keem lays off a second video for the album this time for “HONEST.”
