For the first time since 2003, Guru and DJ Premier — collectively known as Gang Starr — dropped new music, “Family & Loyalty.” Also featuring J. Cole — who said that the song would be his last feature — the single now has a matching set of visuals.
Directed by fellow legend Fab 5 Freddy, the video features archived footage of the late Guru while Premier traverses New York City dropping (literal) jewels while with the late rapper’s son.
