For the last decade, Heather Victoria has been laying down silky smooth vocals as part of 9th Wonder’s The Academy JAMLA collective.
However, all of the work has been on the feature’d tip–with appearances on Rapsody’s The Idea of Beautiful, Add-2’s Prey for the Poor, 9th Wonder’s The Wonder Years (on a song with the late Mac Miller), both JAMLA is the Squad compilations, and a variety of other projects.
Thankfully, for the first time since 2011’s Hip Hop Soul Lives, the soulful Fayetteville, NC songstress is officially back in action with her new album, Boutique Hotel. Equipped with nine songs, the project has contributions from Big K.R.I.T., Raheem DeVaughn, 9th, Khrysis, and more.
