Anna Wise is back at it with her new album, As If It Were Forever.
After years of blessing us with projects like The Feminine: Act 1 and Act 2, her work with Sonnymoon, and collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, the new mother looks inward for the inspiration behind her latest project.
“I’ve turned the mirror around on myself,” Anna says while speaking on the album. “I’m analyzing my identity, my interactions, my healing. I’m seeing where I fall short, where I’m more talk than action. I’m focusing on loving myself instead of trying to be lovable.”
Equipped with 12 tracks, including “Abracadabra” with Little Simz, the album also features Denzel Curry, Pink Siifu, and her baby daddy, Jon Bap.
