Guapdad 4000 is Making ‘Dior Deposits’ on New Album

It’s been a long time coming for Guapdad 4000.

After getting his start in music by hi-jacking his auntie’s camcorder to record him and his crew dressing up as pimps and slapping fake hoes, the Oakland-raised, LA-based rapper grew up and released his first (and only) project, ScamBoy Color, back in 2017. And now, after a few appearances on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III project, Guapdad is looking to cash in on his newfound “fame” with his new album, Dior Deposits.

“If this was early 2000s, this would be the hottest mixtape of the year,” he told Revolt. “It’s just so good. I really express myself on some of the songs, I get super musical on some of the songs, I get super Bay area on some of the songs. It’s really a representation of me.”

A 13 track affair, led by “Scammin” with Mozzy, the 6LACK-assisted “Prada Process‘ and “Gucci Pajamas” with Chance the Rapper and Charlie Wilson, the album also has contributions from E-40, Maxo Kream, Tory Lanez, Buddy, Terrace Martin, Denzel Curry, Nef the Pharaoh, KEY! and more.

Oh, and its MixedByAli, so you know its sounding extra crisp!
