It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Jon Connor. His last solo drop traces back to early 2018 with “I’m Back.” While he’s showed face here and there on features since then, Connor returns again and this time maybe for good.
Taking on Eminem and Logic’s “Homicide,” Connor gives us his own take as he goes to bat on the beat for over three minutes. In addition to the new freestyle, he has also announced his own indie imprint, All Varsity Music Group.
Speaking on the freestyle and his return, Connor said “I gained my fanbase from feeding the streets with content that showcased my lyrical ability. What captivated them was how hard I was going. And I wanted fans to know that, after all these years and throughout my journey, I still give a fuck about MC-ing.” His self-produced debut is also set to arrive in early 2020
