With Queen & Slim impacting theaters on November 27th, Motown is back with another taste of the accompanying soundtrack–out November 15th.

After kicking things off with “Collide” by EarthGang and Tiana Major9, we now get a song by Vince Staples, 6LACK and Mereba called “Yo Love.”

“They was like ‘hey we’re doing this movie, you got a song for it?’ I was like ‘aw yeah, man, let’s watch it,'” Vince says. “We watched it and had chips and snacks and popcorn and drinks and stuff and I seen the movie and I was like, ‘aw man, they shot the police, that’s crazy.’ I can get with this because it’s not real. it’s a movie. it’s a figment of imagination. We would never encourage anyone to uprise like that in real life, because we don’t need that at this point in the world right? And then, boom, other things happened–there were more shootings, there was a Cadillac Deville, there was a brothel, there was a lot of nature. I was like ‘man, this is crazy inspiring, I should call 6LACK,’ and that’s what happened. That’s how we got this.”
