After a bit of feature streak that saw her working with the likes of Arin Ray, YK Osiris and more recently, Teyana Taylor, Kehlani is back with some solo tunes.
Just on SoundCloud for the time being, Kehlani returns with “You Know Wassup.” Creating the track “just a couple hours ago,” Lani’s latest single stands as a warning to her newfound flame, YG, who found himself caught on camera with a woman not named Lani.
On the track’s halfway mark Kehlani sings, “Still wanna be Mrs. Jackson, still wanna be your co-captain, so don’t do lose the girl of your dreams, waited five years to be on my team.” Welp.
