You know, I never thought I’d be interested in a “Bonnie & Clyde”-style movie, but here we are.
The upcoming film, Queen & Slim, is yet another play on that story, but it’s less “Jay-Z and Beyoncé music video (or, at least I hope not)” and more a politically-charged thriller. Starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, the movie arrives November 27th.
However, the accompanying soundtrack arrives today. A 17-track drop, the soundtrack will also feature contributions from Lauryn Hill, EarthGang (with Tiana Major9, on “Collide“), Megan Thee Stallion (on “Ride Or Die“), Lil Baby, Vince Staples (with 6LACK and Mereba, on “Yo Love“) and a host of others.
