Since the inaugural project back in 2015, Fabolous has eschewed the traditional “album” for his “mixtape” series Summertime Shootout. After the 2016 installment, The Level Up, he’s been teasing the third volume for roughly two years now.
That hiatus is about to end, however, as Fab announced that SS3, officially dubbed The Coldest Summer Ever, will arrive this month. Slated to drop on Black Friday (November 29th, because of course it would), the Brooklyn rapper will finally put a cap at the end of his latest trilogy.
(Maybe, just maybe, he’ll actually drop the proper follow-up to his 2014 album, The Young OG Project, hm?)
