Kanye West Announces ‘Jesus Is King II’ with Dr. Dre

As if Jesus is King wasn’t enough, Kanye West is planning a sequel. And this time, he’s decided to tag-in Dr. Dre to help assist on the project.

Taking to Twitter, the MAGA-hat rocking producer shared a picture of him and Dre (who just celebrated 20 years of Chronic 2001) in the studio.

“I first met Dre in December of 2003,” Kanye once said in a Rollingstone piece back in 2010. “He asked me to produce a track for the Game. At first I was star-struck, but within 30 minutes I was begging him to mix my next album. He’s the definition of a true talent: Dre feels like God placed him here to make music, and no matter what forces are aligned against him, he always ends up on the mountaintop.”

This collaboration would’ve been great… in 2010. But now, like Jesus is King, I don’t see any of us at the DopeHouse getting too excited for anything coming out of Wyoming–even if the good doctor is involved.
