When it comes to the newer generation of R&B acts, Ro James ranks among the best as far as we’re concerned. From his Coke, Jack and Cadillacs trilogy to his Eldorado debut and Smoke EP, everything the Germany-bred crooner has consistently delivered a product worth revisiting on multiple occasions.
“I’ve just been in my creative space for a little while figuring out how to make sure I make the greatest [album] and being honest with what I feel at the moment,” James told the Recording Academy back in July at ESSENCE Fest. “I took my time and took a little break and fell out the energy, lived a little bit, so now it’s time to put it out.”
