By the time the calendar flips into a new year, one of my surprises from 2019 will definitely be Xavier Omar and Sango‘s Moments Spent Loving You. Nearly a month after its release, the duo heads over to the Soulection studio to speak on the album.
In the 30-minute interview, Xavier and Sango speak on the process of making this album, their growth, and more including how Sango & Frank Ocean’s collaboration came about. In addition to the interview, Xavier Omar also gave a candid performance of one of my favorites tracks on the album, “Deep End.”
