If you’re like me, Griselda‘s WWCD has been in constant rotation since its release late week. On the off chance I decided to switch things up, I’d end up throwing on Tana Talk 3, Blakk Tape, or Supreme Blientele. It’s just that time of year where this type of music hits a little bit different.
On the hunt for more content from the crew from Buffalo, I came across Conway‘s recent session with Vevo’s Cntrl series. What a find. Not only is it shot dope–from the lighting to camera work–but it’s another example of the Machine’s profound presence on stage. Never needing to over exert himself, he’s calm, leaving his words to do the dirty work and impact the audience.
For the series, Conway performed “Half Of It,” before going back and forth with Benny the Butcher–who demands the same attention when he spits his truth into the mic–for “Tito’s Back.” Both off the Look What I Became EP.
As a bonus, Benny also ran through “Crowns For Kings” off The Plugs I Met.
