At just the young age of 21, Juice WRLD has passed away.
According to TMZ, his death came after he suffered a seizure in Chicago’s Midway airport early this morning (12/8) not long after his flight landed. Witnesses say that he suffered it as he walked through the airport.
Juice WRLD – born Jared Anthony Higgins – was reportedly still conscious as he was rushed to a hospital, but was unfortunately pronounced dead a short time later.
Achieving quite the success in such a short time, Juice WRLD became one of hip hop’s most known last summer thanks to his 2018 hit “Lucid Dreams,” a track that peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart. He would continue to have this same success with his sophomore album, Death Race for Love.
He was also beloved by many artists, as he worked with Young Thug, Travis Scott, Future, Ski Mask the Slump God, Trippie Redd, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and so much more.
2019 has been a year filled with tragedies and just weeks before the calendar flip, we are very much saddened to see another promising act leave us.
RIP Juice WRLD.
