After staring blankly at my screen for about five minutes, here goes nothing.
With little to no promotion, Drake dropped a new freestyle titled “War.” The track comes off a collaboration tape, EL-KUUMBA TAPE VOL. 1 between Oliver El-Khatib, Drake’s creative director and brand manger, and Kuumba International, a Japanese Lifestyle brand.
Over the three-minute track, Drake opts for a UK accent that only seemed to irritate my ears, BUT on the bright side, we can all rest assure on any concerns between his relationship between himself and The Weeknd as he raps that the two “just had to fix things.”
