Who knew that the first song I’d enjoy in the year 2020 would belong to Justin Bieber?!
Following his fourth album, 2015’s Purpose, Bieber has laid low for the better half of the last decade. In that time, he worked on his mental health after experiencing a musical burnout, sporadically made guest features on other artists’ projects (Chance The Rapper, DJ Khaled), and even got married to Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin). Now, after that extended break he releases his first new solo offering of the decade, “Yummy.”
More R&B-leaning than his pop stylings from before, this song… well… it slaps. Bieber has also promised both a new album and documentary, which will follow his life over the past few years. In the meantime, check out “Yummy” below.
