After releasing a third Tuxedo album with Jake One, Mayer Hawthorne closed out the decade with a series of singles. And today, with his first 2020 appearance at the DopeHouse, the Grammy-nominated singer has come through with a video for his latest release, “Healing.”
Directed by Molly Adams, the video follows Hawthorne into the depths of space where he encounters some unfriendly aliens–bringing a childhood fantasy of exploring space to life.
