Luke James Looks ‘To Feel Love/D’ On New Album

In 2014, Luke James released his self-titled debut album, one that came after quite the attention with previous mixtapes and EPs, both leading Soul Train and Grammy award nominations as well as headlining Beyoncé’s 2013 Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.

The following years presented anticipated projects that resulted in failed releases and scrapped ideas, but the R&B singer never lost a step. Consider 2018’s “These Arms” for example.

The time has finally come for Luke James to share his sophomore album and it’s one he’s proud of. “This is what I wanna do. This is music I actually like, actually love of myself, actually feel. I’m in a place of only doing what I love to do, from here on out,” he said in an interview with ESSENCE.

Led by “Blow,” “go girl” and “All of Your Love,” Luke James arrives with To Feel Love/D. Nine songs deep, the album tackles a two-sided coin of love with contributions from BJ the Chicago Kid, Ro James, Samoht, Big K.R.I.T. and Kirk Franklin.
