From 2Dope To Sleep On alum to GRAMMY-nominated artist. Not bad for Dreamville’s Lute.
It’s been three years since the North Carolina rapper’s debut mixtape with the label, West 1996 Part 2. However, Lute has kept busy with a steady stream of features, and nabbed a 2020 GRAMMY nod for his contributions on Dreamville’s chart-topping Revenge Of The Dreamers III. Now, he returns with a new solo offering “GED (Gettin’ Every Dolla).”
Directed by Neal Farmer, fans get introduced to the artist’s tongue-in-cheek alter-ego Gold Mouf while revisiting American history through his eyes. The track serves as the first single to Lute’s forthcoming debut album as well.
