With Book of Ryan still in heavy rotation from 2018, Royce 5’9″ is ready to bust our heads open again with the release of his new album, The Allegory.
Unlike any of his previous releases, Royce is not only rapping his ass off, but the Detroit native is also behind the album’s production. Yeah, he does it all.
After kicking things off on “Black Savage” with CyHi the Prynce, Sy Ari Da Kid, T.I. and While Gold, Royce kept the campaign rolling with a pair of Griselda-assisted tracks (“Overcomer” with Westside Gunn and “Upside Down” with Benny the Butcher) before hitting us with “I Don’t Age.”
Now, after circulating the country on an epic promo run, Royce is right back at the DopeHouse with the release of the album. Locked in at 22 tracks (five of which are interludes), there’s appearances from DJ Premier, Eminem, Conway, Vince Staples, G Perico, KXNG Crooked, Kid Vishis, Ashley Sorrell, Oswin Benjamin, Emanny, and Cedric the Entertainer.
