During a six month span from late 2018 to early 2019, R&B saw the emergence of quite the talented act in Pink Sweat$. The Philly-born singer took over airwaves with his near-acoustic sound that could be found on tracks like “Honesty.”
After sharing his first two projects, Volume 1 and Volume 2, Pink Sweat$ retreated back to his creative pocket to continue work on his debut album, Pink Planet. In a sit-down with us last year, he defined the release as “timeless” and one that would hopefully prove “black music is diverse.”
After sharing a visual for “Body Ain’t Me,” a Jessie Reyez-featured remix for “Honesty” and “I Wanna Be Yours,” it seems like album season is here for Pink Sweat$ as he touches down with his new single, “17,” which so happens to be the age at which his musical influence begun.
Attached with a music video, hit play on “17” below.
