070 Phi Returns with ‘My Father’s Gun’ Project

blame it on Shake March 13, 2020

The last time we heard from 070 Phi, he was featured on a song with Dave East and Jay Electronica (such an odd pairing, right?). So, it only makes sense that the Jersey native drops a new project when Jay Elect decided to finally release his incredibly long-overdue debut, A Written Testimony.

Acting as a follow-up to last year’s Outside EP (which marked his first solo release on Mass Appeal Records), 070 Phi returns with My Father’s Gun.

“Been seven summers since my mom kicked everybody out,” 070 Phi said on Twitter. “Thats where the project My Fathers Gun came from. Me understanding why. But after that, #7SUMMERS is coming. Cause even through bad times God been by my side and shit been lit.”

Locked in at 10 tracks, featuring 070 Shake and Irie Child, the project can be heard below. Press play and add My Father’s Gun where you get music.
