Blakk Soul makes his DopeHouse debut with “Help” featuring Joell Ortiz.

Hailing from Tacoma, Washington, the multi-hyphenate creative has been featured before through his work with Rapper Big Pooh (his manager), but he’s already got plenty of credits for songwriting, background vocals and co-producing work alongside Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak, Jake One, and more.

Looking to take the next step in his career, Blakk Soul has announced his new album, Take Your Time, dropping April 17th via Mello Music Group.

With the announcement comes the project’s first single, which finds Soul reconnecting with Joell Ortiz (they worked together on the Nottz-laced “Momma” off Joell’s Monday album) to blend R&B, Neo-Soul, and Hip-Hop.
