At the top of the year, TDE let fans know 2020 would be a big one for the label as a number of full-length releases were on deck for the year, with REASON and his upcoming debut album being first up. Throwing his hat into the mix for the year, Jay Rock shared some welcoming news about his own upcoming effort.
Fresh off his supporting ScHoolboy Q on his CrasH Talk European tour, Jay Rock returned home and got back to work on a follow up to his 2018 album, Redemption. Giving fans an update on its progress, Jay Rock revealed that the album is “80% done.”
With such progress made on the upcoming album, Jay Rock could join a year of releases that could see releases from REASON, Isaiah Rashad, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q and if that is the case, I need that.
