TOKiMONSTA Returns with New Album, ‘Oasis Nocturno’

Back in 2017, Los Angeles-based producer TOKiMONSTA underwent brain surgeries that temporarily robbed her of her ability to even understand music, much less create it. Thankfully, she would eventually recover, and went on to earn a Grammy nomination for her Lune Rouge album.

Now, three years later, the talented Jennifer Lee is picking up where Lune Rouge left off with another batch of atmospheric tracks that infuse intricate and declarative vocals with her psychedelic and smooth production on her fourth full-length album, Oasis Nocturno.

Oasis Nocturno is a journey from dusk to dawn–following the evolving moods and feelings of the night,” TOKi says. “Making this album gave me a piece of paradise to turn to during some difficult growing pains as a musician and a person. During these ever changing times, I hope listeners will find some fun, romance and refuge in this album.”

Equipped with 12 songs, including “Fried For the Night” with EarthGang, the album has features from Sunni Colón, VanJess, Dumbfoundead, Drew Love, Bibi Bourelly, Jean Deaux, and Rosehardt.
