Normally, NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts are just that: an artist performing a series of songs in the media platform’s Washington, DC office. But with virtually the entire planet staying at home, NPR is now bringing the show from their proverbial living room to our literal ones.

Black Thought of The Roots took to his home office for this edition of NPR’s Tiny Desk Home Concert series, and he took the occasion to premiere three new songs: “Thought Vs. Everybody,” “Yellow” (a song from his upcoming off-Broadway musical Black No More), and “Nature of the Beast” (a collaboration with Portugal. The Man).

As it turns out, “Thought Vs. Everybody,” and “Yellow” are produced by Sean C (Jay-Z’s American Gangster, Ghostface Killah, Curren$y) and will appear on Thought’s upcoming Streams of Thought Vol. 3 EP.
