Following years of collaborative mixtapes and loose singles, Kenny Mason had his moment in 2019 thanks to his breakout single, “Hit.” Making his formal entrance to the world, Mason shares his debut album, Angelic Hoodrat.
Bearing a title that reminds me very much of Kendrick Lamar’s 2015 album, To Pimp A Butterfly, Mason appears with 14 songs all with intention of showcasing himself and himself only as Angelic Hoodrat is an entirely solo effort.
