Months after releasing his 2018 album Die Lit, Playboi Carti began teasing its follow up, Whole Lotta Red. Aside from a random assortment of leaks and unconfirmed tracklists and release dates, not much else is known about the album. Carti would eventually fall off the grid, leaving his fans in absolute confusion.
Ending his period of silence, Carti returns with his new single “@ MEH.” The track served as his first musical release since appearing on SAFE’s 2019 album STAY. Whether or not this means Whole Lotta Red is on the way remains to be seen. However, Drake did tell Carti to release their “1993 PAIN” collab so new music may be on the way soon.
