Now that folks have had time to recover from their quarantine’d 4/20 activities, Parisalexa is back with another taste of her upcoming debut.

On May 8th, the Seattle songstress will be releasing 2 Real to the masses. But before that, after sharing the title-track and “Chocolate,” she’s come through with single number three, “Slimthick.”

“When I was growing up I didn’t have a lot of women around me who were shaped like me. I had to learn to be confident in what I looked like by myself,” Paris says. “Since I found that confidence I’ve made it my mission, not only to hold onto it but to spread it to other girls who may need the boost just like I did. The truth is we only get one body, and every stretch mark is a sign of growth that should be celebrated! Whether you’re slim or thick, you’re a real bad b*tch. Don’t forget that!”

Blending the brass-laced buoyancy of ’90s R&B and the filth of mid-2000s crunk-flavored hip hop, “Slimthick” can be heard below.
