Savageland Deliver Daunting Self-Titled Debut

blame it on Shake April 24, 2020

Earlier this month we introduced you to Savageland, a newly-formed group consisting of NY producer Reckognize Real and Massachusetts rappers Weapon ESP and Ghost of the Machine.

After building a rep through his work with Guilty Simpson and Moka Only, Reckognize Real was planning on a project with Weapon ESP. Once they had GOTM jump on with a verse, though, they knew the trio had a chemistry too strong to ignore and decided to see what they could cook up together.

Named after their mutual love of comic books–and to reflect the direction society is currently in–Savageland’s self-titled album arrives at 10 tracks, led by “Dystopia” with Estee Nack, and a feature from DJ Grazzhoppa.

On top of the Savageland album, Ghost of the Machine is also preparing to release his Heroes For Hire 3 project with Miami’s DJ Proof. To kick off the campaign, the duo drop the first single, “Power pt.2.”
