Fresh off the release of an updated version of his stellar STILL debut, TOBi is back with a video for one of the project’s new tracks–a “Toronto Remix” of “24” featuring SHAD, Haviah Mighty, Jazz Cartier, and Ejji Smith.
Directed by Kit Weyman, the video takes you on a tour of Toronto, stopping in places like Sherbourne station and the Port Lands on Lake Shore, as it dives into the complex themes of living to see another day.
“For this video, I welcomed the mind of artists who are pushing back against societal norms and making a statement that we are more than our expectations,” TOBi says. “I took the opportunity to aim at changing the narratives that have existed before we were born, especially as it relates to Toronto.”
