Ka Returns with Seventh Album, ‘Descendants of Cain’

blame it on Shake May 7, 2020

It’s been a few years since Ka dropped a solo album, but the Brownsville emcee is officially back in action with Descendants of Cain.

A follow-up to 2016’s Honor Killed The Samurai (and, by extension, 2018’s Orpheus vs. The Sirens as Hermit and the Recluse with producer Animoss), the album was originally released on Ka’s website last week before making its way to streaming services (except Apple Music at the time of posting).

Locked in at 11 tracks, with a lone feature from Roc Marciano (“Sins of a Father”), the album is mainly produced by Ka, with the exception of “Unto the Dust” and “I Love” (Preservation) and “My Brother’s Keeper” (Animoss).
