Kehlani Returns With Sophomore Album, ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’

Following the release of her major label debut album SweetSexySavage in 2017, Kehlani went through some life changes (to say the least). She became a champion for the LGBTQ community when she revealed that she identified as queer, gave birth to her first child, dated and ended a relationship with YG, and released her mixtape While We Wait.

Needless to say, those said changes should provide ample inspiration for her long-awaited sophomore album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. A 15-track offering, the album is led by the singles “Everybody Business,” “Toxic,” and “F&MU.” The likes of Tory Lanez, Jhené Aiko, Masego, Lucky Daye, and James Blake appear throughout.
