Buju Banton Shares Release Date & Tracklist For ‘Upside Down’

Just two years again, legendary Jamaican singer, Buju Banton was released from prison after spending almost a decade incarcerated on drug charges. This year, Banton has made a great impression working with the likes of dvsn (“Dangerous City“) and John Legend (“Memories“).

With the latter of the aforementioned singles set to lead the way for his upcoming album, Banton has revealed both the release date and tracklist for his upcoming album, Upside Down.

Twenty tracks deep, the album sees guest appearances from John Legend, Pharrell Williams, Stefflon Don, and Stephen Marley. Available for pre-order this Friday, June 12, the album will be available for all to hear on June 26.

As we approach this shift in time, in ages, in the consciousness of man, many things can be said but who is really listening? So much trouble in our world, yet are we aware? We are the change we seek and it’s our time to cement this thought in the minds of our youth. To open their eyes, thus enabling future generations to continue on a firm path and solid foundation with music doing it’s job as the great healer, teacher, comforter and above all, the restorative force that propels human beings to higher heights.
