Making the best out of a situation the world and other beings have put us in, the 2020 BET Awards have continued as planned with just a few minor changes. Abiding by social distancing rules, the award show was livestreamed and included pre-recorded award announcements and performances.
In between the award presentations, fans were treated to performances from Public Enemy (with Rapsody, Black Thought, Nas, YG and more), Masego, Megan Thee Stallion, D Smoke and SiR, Summer Walker and Usher, Lil Wayne, Chloe x Halle, Alicia Keys, Jay Rock and Andeson .Paak, and others.
