Lianne La Havas entered the R&B would with a bold, yet graceful voice thanks to her debut 2012 debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough? Three years later, she returned with her sophomore effort, Blood. Taking a bit more time to craft her latest offering, La Havas returns with her self-titled third album.
Back with Lianne La Havas, the UK songstress returns with 12 new songs for her fans’ enjoyment. A completely solo effort, she describes the album as being “driven by emotion” following the rise and fall of a previous relationship she was in.
She also compared the album’s theme to a season flower saying, “A flower has to dry up and die in order to be reborn. You have to get to the rock bottom to rebuild yourself.”
