I’ll be frank: I like the music of the City Girls, Megan Thee Stallion and the like as much as I enjoy Griselda, Lianne La Havas and Wizkid. So, yes, I was waiting to take a listen to the major label debut project of Alabama rapper Flo Milli.
After buzzing with tracks like “Beef,” “In The Party” and “Not Friendly,” Milli drops her mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here?‘ A 12-track outing, her music isn’t for the guys: it’s in line with today’s take-no-prisoners man-eaters, instead. And, truth be told, I don’t mind this at all (“Weak” is a bop, for starters).
