Tinashe and THEY. have established a working relationship, as the trio recently connected for a remix of her Songs For You single “Hopscotch.” This time ‘Nashe returns the favor, providing an assist for the connect once again, this time for a “Play Fight.”
The trio have now released a matching set of visuals for the track. “Play Fight” will land on the forthcoming project from THEY., The Amanda Tape, which they describe is “built off of the concept of nostalgia and details the most intimate parts of our souls.” “[We want to] explore the light and darkness of familiar feelings and create new memories for fans, lovers and all the Amandas —whomever and wherever they might be,” the group says.
