COVID-19 (WHICH HAS NOT GONE AWAY, PEOPLE, SO STAY IN Y’ALL HOUSES PLEASE), police brutality, racism, societal injustices… it’s exhausting. Like many before him, he has decided to share his thoughts on wax in the form of “Lockdown.”
A supporter of the protestors and Black Lives Matter, the GRAMMY winner’s own salvo can be heard below through a matching video that also features a variety of cameos from Jay Rock, SiR, Syd, Dr. Dre, Dumbfoundead, and many others.
UPDATE: A month and some change later, Paak has resurfaced with a remix bundle that features the instrumental, acapella, and an updated version of the record with appearances from Jay Rock, JID and noname.
