Two days ago (8/15), Nipsey Hussle should’ve been celebrating his 35th birthday. Unfortunately, as we know, he wasn’t able to, because the late rapper was tragically gunned down outside of his Marathon Clothing store in March of last year. Still, the memory of Nipsey will forever live on.
Doing his part in keeping Nipsey Hussle’s name alive, Snoop Dogg–who shared a unique relationship with the Crenshaw rapper over the years–has come through with “a tribute to [his] neffew” called “Nipsey Blue” that finds him singing along to Dorothy Moore’s “Misty Blue” from 1976.
Released with a matching video, directed by Dah Dah and equipped with vaulted footage of the two spending time together at various points throughout the years, the tribute can be heard below.
