Proclaiming him as the “king of the youth,” Travis Scott is the cover star of GQ’s September 2020 issue.

In his Gerrick D. Kennedy-penned interview Scott reveals that he and Kid Cudi are in the stages of releasing a collaborative album, building on their “THE SCOTTS” single. While details are scant, according to the interview the two have “already cut a bunch of records together.”

“When I ask what he and Cudi have in store for the project,” Kennedy writes, “he says, ‘Man, a lot. Some fireness!’”

It was also revealed that Scott crafted a song for the who-knows-when-it-will-come-out-because-COVID-and-American-stupidity Christopher Nolan film, Tenet. “His voice became the final piece of a yearlong puzzle,” Nolan says. “His insights into the musical and narrative mechanism [composer] Ludwig Göransson and I were building were immediate, insightful, and profound.”
